Hi Juxtians! We’re pleased to announce that we’ve pushed through a new major update with over 40 improvements and bug fixes. Here are some of the changes: [b]Improvements:[/b] • Roll, Dashing, and Backstep improvements: - Speed, iframes, and length have been increased for all three. • Enemy staggering: - Enemy staggers now last longer. • Weapon Upgrade System Improvements: - Flake and Bar item drop rate increased. - Additional upgrade materials will be added to the Merchant’s store after the player defeats each of the following bosses: Rotting King, Sister of Reverence, Beloved and Defender, Specklord Tyris, and Lorentino bosses. • Reworked Stamina System: - Stamina cost increase for Roll, Dash, and Backstep. - Overall Stamina regeneration decreased. - Stamina regeneration removed during the beginning of attacks. - Energy Rush Stamina regeneration reduction. • Weapon Balancing: - Fist weapons no longer scale with Vitality and Stamina. - Spear attacks cost more stamina. Spear attacks deal more toughness damage. - Greatsword and Warhammer damage increase for charged attacks. - Greatsword and Warhammer input registration improvements. Additionally, players can cancel charge attacks early, which will change into a standard attack. • Quality of Life Fixes: - Player turn animation removed - Cutscene skips added to the following Bosses after the first attempt: Apathia elevator fight, Apathia final fight, and Seer and Manipulator. - Silver Speckcraft Knight magic pillars damage nerf. - Various music levels increased. - Player death count reset on New Game Plus. - Siege Tunnels room near the middle has had decoration improvements to make traps more obvious. • Boss Balancing: - Conquerors overall health reduced. Third conqueror now spawns less minions. - Specklord Tyris Laser attack feedback improved. - Drelium health reduced in Phase 1. Health increased in Phase 2. - Seer and Manipulator attack probability improvements. Arena door glow added to left side. [b]Bug Fixes:[/b] • Attempting to activate the Seer and Manipulator relic will no longer crash the game • Specklord Tyris projectiles no longer crash game on hit. • Unspeakable Queen relic is no longer usable on Bosses. • The end of an attack animation no longer disregards input for queuing the next attack. • Valley of Juxtia map no longer shows a room entrance to a non-existent room. • Wraith Legion can no longer clip outside the map, resulting in an instant boss kill. • Room in Verdant Gardens near the middle no longer has frozen waterfalls. • Saved games will now keep track of acquired duplicate armor pieces. • Darkest Heart warp gate is no longer accessible from the top of the map. • Room in War Wastes with Mortorbs near the left entrance will no longer attack the player when they are near that entrance. • During boss battles, if the player kills a boss, the player will no longer be killable during cinematics. • If the boss kills a player, the boss will no longer be killable during cinematics. • Verdant Gardens entrance room will no longer allow the player to teleport through the shortcut wall. • Palace of Secrets entrance room will no longer have a decoration on the wrong layer. • Returning to Tralium's arena will no longer lock the player. • For the duration of the fight, the portal in Drelium's arena will no longer remain open if the player chooses to fight Drelium. • Attempting to activate the Seer and Manipulator relic will no longer crash the game. • In certain rooms the camera will no longer suddenly drop when exiting a room. • Verdant Garden Seers will no longer lose sight of the player if there is a small height difference between them. • Herald's relic will no longer cause animation stutters on enemies without toughness meters. • Certain keyboard functions no longer trigger debug effects.
