During this combat action, Lexington came very close to disaster. A lot of suspense and luck involved. Lady Lex scrambles her planes under fire, two suicidal Betties try to ram her, a SBD shoots down a bomber, Butch O'Hare becomes Ace in a day... Quite the eventful afternoon if you ask me!
