Dear Sugardew Island Community, We hope you're doing well! We've got some important updates to share with you about the progress of our cozy farm shop adventure. Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm—it truly means the world to us! [h1]Release Date Postponed to 2025 [/h1] [b]First and foremost, we have decided to postpone the release of Sugardew Island to [u]early 2025[/u]. [/b] [b]💖 But the reason for this is quite exciting![/b] we’ve received a grant of €40,000 from the state of Hessen/Germany! This incredible support allows us to implement a highly requested feature that many of you have been asking for. This means that the game will have more content than planned.  Unfortunately we can't tell you what this feature is at the moment as we are in the process of planning our marketing beats and many showcases want exclusive announcements/features, but we promise you that the wait will have an impact on your relationship with the game 🙃. [h1]Nintendo Switch Version in the Works[/h1] We are thrilled to announce that a dedicated external team is currently working on the Nintendo Switch port of Sugardew Island. This team has already successfully ported several games for us in the past, and we're confident that they will deliver a version of Sugardew Island that will delight all our Switch players. Rest assured, they are committed to maintaining the quality and charm of the game on this platform. But it will be fixed :).[/i] To place it in perspective: The Nintendo Switch always presents the greatest difficulty, if the Switch version is running, then the port to other consoles is quite "fast". [h1]Gamescom Recap[/h1] Two weeks ago, we had the pleasure of attending Gamescom, where we presented Sugardew Island to a select group of German press members and content creators behind closed doors. It was an incredibly exciting experience for us to witness the first reactions to our game, and we can't wait to share more with all of you soon!
