In Morphblade you move around a grid slicing, smashing and bursting waves of nasty red bugs. Each tile you move to transforms you into a different weapon: on a Blades hex you can slice enemies on either side of you, on an Arrow you can launch yourself through two enemies in a row.

I've just updated Morphblade to version 83! It fixes a few bugs with certain hexes when upgraded with the Hammer, and adds a new feature: the Event Log.

The Event Log. Hit L any time to see a log of what's happened so far in the current game. It'll also label all hexes and enemies with a unique name so you can see how the log relates to the grid. This should be good for a) helping you understand why you died, b) clearing up some cases where something might look like a bug but actually does make sense, and b) clearing up cases where it makes no sense at all and is definitely a bug.

Relatedly: Report a bug. Under Options, there's a link to file a bug report in a way that makes it easy for me to go through them. If you can also screenshot the event log, that's a great help!

Relatedly: bugs fixed. Sadly, that report a bug feature will never be used because I've definitely fixed all bugs forever now. Several hex types, when upgraded with the Hammer, are supposed to knock back enemies adjacent to the hex you move to. A glitch in the last patch caused these to actually knock back enemies adjacent to *this* hex instead. That's fixed now. Teleporter + Repair may have also been behaving unexpectedly, that's also fixed.

I forgot to make an announcement for the last patch, but it was to fix cases where clicking quickly could cause enemies to hit you twice, especially Pusher enemies. "Push me once," as my gran used to say, "shame on you. Push me twice, double shame. Multi-Shame. MONSTER SHAME." She played a lot of UT2004, mostly Onslaught.
