Hey Dwarves!
This is a small patch introducing an improvement to our voice chat systems, removing the Spookbeard's Tavern themes and addressing several bugs/QoL changes requested by the community recently!
Patch Notes
Proximity Voice Chat
- Adjusted: Fully reworked voice chat to be more audible and include settings to cater to different microphones and volumes.
- Adjusted: Changed voice chat to be proximity based, falling off in certain distances in the tavern to create more interesting gameplay.
Cosmetics & Themes
- Adjusted: Rolling in lootboxes to yield much less duplicates and prefer giving out unique locked cosmetics.
- Removed: Spookbeard's Tavern 2024 theme from the free rotation.
- Removed: Spookbeard's 2024 Beanie & MDS Wireframe Skin Codes from the shop.
Quality of Life
- Adjusted: Light flickering to be less intense and rapid, and rather decline smoothly until the power is out.
- Adjusted: Changed the order of the play menu to be more intuitive, as it was confusing to select settings before choosing/making a new save.
- Adjusted: Added a zone indication next to the table numbers.
- Adjusted: Added a hitbox to seats preventing stains from landing in between them, unable to be cleaned up.
Bugs
- Fixed: An issue where the organ player hit sound in the Spookbeard's Tavern was not affected by volume settings.
- Fixed: An issue where lighting was too dim for Renowned Customers entering in the tavern in the Spookbeard's Tavern theme.
- Fixed: An issue where if the host selects the Classic Tavern theme, the client players still had the Spookbeard's Theme loaded.
- Fixed: An additional issue with mouse sensitivity where the highest option was still too low.
- Fixed: An issue where mouse sensitivity was tied to FPS.
- Fixed: An issue where table numbers sometimes showed all tables as "Table 1".
