Meridian: Squad 22 is a single-player science-fiction real-time strategy game with a focus on base building and advanced tactics. Every single choice, every tactical decision you make, shapes the outcome of your story.
The second content update for Meridian: Squad 22 will be released next week, which includes the Squad Missions game mode and four missions, each with three versions (a normal, hard and insanely difficult one)!
Squad Missions are special assignments that take place on Earth. As Council Spec Ops, your job is to carry out assassinations, retrieve stolen Council property or sabotage missions planned by the rebels. Typically, in these missions, you have a handful of specialists at your disposal and limited access to your commander abilities. Your task is to figure out how to get in and get the job done. If your plan is flawed, the alarms will go off and it's over!

Another all-important update based on community feedback is that in campaign missions with base building, you'll no longer need to keep your hero characters alive. You can safely include them in your army, if they die, they'll just respawn in the center of your base.
The update also includes other fixes based on community suggestions, such as reduced brightness in conquest desert levels, UI improvements and various fixes for campaign missions.
Be sure to check back soon as the second major update for Meridian: Squad 22 goes live next week!
