Scavenge, Craft, Build and Fight! Survive the Fall is an open-world action game with a rich story. Collect loot & fight to rebuild your community and its base. Uncover the secrets of the fallen world after a meteorite strike!
At the beginning of the expedition, you'll control two team members, Dan and Zack. Each one has a set of special abilities that you can use to fight enemies, explore locations, and so on.
Meet Dan, a peerless hunter among your crew. You will surely find his arsenal of skills valuable. Among them are such talents as:
- Marksmanship. A bonus to shooting attacks comes in handy.
- Tracking. Dan can quickly scan the area and easily find traces of animals or people.
- Processing. Once the tracked animal is dead, Dan will show you his proficiency in skinning and processing meat. He only does it with animals, though. Human flesh is too polluted for his taste. At least, he claims so.
- Stealth. Dan is an indisputable master of camouflage, which means he can become stealthy and reduce the sound he makes.
- Assassination. He can quickly and easily assassinate an enemy, thanks to his stealthy approach. Moreover, Dan can use any melee weapon in the process, not only a knife like any other character.
Looks like this guy is an ideal of an apocalypse survivalist?
Well, there are also some downsides of Dan the hunter...
Let’s go back a couple of years before the Fall!
Dan and his friend, Travis, celebrated New Year's Eve in their favorite way – drinking beer, having a barbecue, and trying out new challenges.
To make the long story short, Travis fired up too many firecrackers at once while Dan tried to avoid them. It all went wrong. Dan got hit by several of them and got badly burnt. But that’s not all. He fell on a digging fork and severely pierced his left thigh. Hopefully, he still had his insurance, and the doctors patched him up.
Now Dan avoids alcohol and digging forks alike. He carries his scars to this day. In gameplay terms, he is more susceptible to wounds caused by human enemies.
It means he has weaknesses like:
- less HP
- more chances to get wounded (each blow reduces his max HP until he gets cured)
- the healing process also takes more time
To sum up, it’s better for him to attack unnoticed and not get caught. Easy!
