Hello everyone!!! Today we'd like to talk a bit more about what the game is about, and what stage of development it's in. First of all, Beyond The Darkness is a dark adventure in the spirit of a nightmarish fairy tale. We aim to tell a story full of mystery and danger. The story is told on behalf of a girl named Millie. She will find herself in her own world, consisting of her home and other ‘spaces’ hidden behind closed doors. The only thing she has at her disposal is an old lamp her mum gave her. Thanks to it, she can light her way and charge other lamps. However, the lamp's light is not infinite and you should use it wisely. All the more so because behind some doors monsters are waiting for the girl, eager to take away the light of her lamp. And if the light disappears.. As the story progresses, we will find more and more clues that reveal the backstory and open new doors. It's up to you to save the girl from the nightmare world. ________________ [b]What about development? [/b] We've been working on the game for quite a while now and we can safely announce that we've reached the stage of polishing the gameplay. You can already go through Beyond The Darkness from the beginning to the end, all that's left is to make the light moments even brighter, the dark ones darker, and the puzzles even more exciting. To make the gameplay more immersive, not so long ago we switched ‘from the top’ camera to a closer version, but left the possibility to change everything to the original version in the settings. Also the model of the main character was slightly changed. There's a very interesting story about her in general, but it's better to tell it in a other post.
