Meet Samuel, he’s handsome, wealthy and most importantly – dead. A deal with Death gives Samuel one last chance to live again if he can survive a whole day doing everything manually.
Hello fellow videogame enthusiasts!
On this very day 4 years ago (and 42 days) the world changed forever. We're pleased to announce that today it will change once more.
We present to you the Manual Samuel Anniversary Edition (Almost)!
The game has recieved a long overdue overhaul, as well as some additional content and features - like amazing comics and global leaderboards!
We have also made a certain bossfight make a little more sense from a game design perspective, which means that it is a bit shorter and a bit easier.
We realize that this will create a new speedrunning category, so in order to preserve the old category we have decided to keep the old version on a beta branch in Steam:
Just open properties, go to betas and select 'classic'.
We have tried to make the speedrunning experience more rewarding by implementing Steam leaderboards into the game,
this includes both the time attack levels and the game as a whole, additionally we have added an in-game timer you can enable in the options menu.
Here is a ridiculously overproduced trailer to mark the anniversary (almost), and a full list of changes below:
