[h1][b]Hello Animal Shelter Managers! 👋[/b][/h1] We’re back with another devlog and this time, just as promised we’ll tell you more about interventions! 🤩 It’s a new mechanic introduced in Animal Shelter 2 which you’ve been curious about so we’re even more happy to share some details with you. [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44823070/051b1482e85079c6d991bb31ec258d1aecd21372.jpg[/img] There is an important difference between an animal rescued in an intervention and simply taking an animal- intervention can be canceled before the car leaves the garage and during the rescue which will result in not taking the animal in❗ As you know, animals coming to your shelter are rescued one way or another. This event, although relatively simple, will give you an opportunity to take matters into your own hands. Sometimes it’s going to be a cat stuck on a tree, other times you’ll have to saw through the bars where animals got stuck. 🌳 Don’t forget that simple gestures like some food or petting will most definitely be appreciated by the rescued animal. 😹 [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44823070/b8aa37cb73941aa8f2aac5dc19851d5e37072e25.jpg[/img] Players will be notified via mark on the tablet map in the place where you send your car to pick up the animals. But before you’re able to go you’ll have to meet some criteria such as having all the necessary equipment to rescue the poor fellow, having an available car and empty space in your shelter. 📝 [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44823070/9d24e1a3864f21db555c2ed0657cd02cf7a74bbf.jpg[/img] There will be three unique locations in which the interventions will be able to take place- [b]suburbs, city center, park[/b]. But the places in the locations are randomly generated which will add for a more unique experience every time you help an animal! 🐕 [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44823070/a8d72c16d16531741b7e8bdd976362aa74974488.jpg[/img] There are some types of interventions which are available for all the locations and some assigned to particular places. Let’s take a closer look at them, shall we? 👀 [h3][b]All Locations[/b][/h3] - taking animals down from heights - rescuing animals from rubble - finding lost animals [h3][b]Park[/b][/h3] - feeding local animals (we don’t take the animal back to the shelter, we only help them to live) [h3][b]City Center[/b][/h3] - freeing animals whose heads got stuck between bars [h3][b]Suburbs[/b][/h3] - animals attached to an objects and left without care [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44823070/51cc07a975a8c17d0048b8098dd41437ae3beed5.jpg[/img] We’d love to hear your opinions on this mechanic.
