Sup Bounty Hunters! Tommy and Andreas from Easy Trigger once again, First we just wanted to say MAY 12TH!!! What about May 12th? Oh no big deal, just Huntdown is dropping on Steam that day. That's right, only a few short weeks from now. We want to say thank you to everyone for all your support and comments on our last post, we are incredibly grateful to have such a fantastic community. We can’t wait to serve up the latest and greatest version of Huntdown with you here. Huntdown is our love letter to the much loved old school arcade experience, and we wanted to bring you a bunch of new features that continue to bring that to life. Oh yeah did we mention NEW FEATURES!!! [previewyoutube=koczDSRdJ4Y;full][/previewyoutube] Not very subtle are we? But it’s true, new features coming to the Steam release of Huntdown include a brand new Arcade game mode (AND it’s exclusive to steam for the first few weeks!). What the heck does that even mean? Glad you asked! This is a new score-based game mode, where you will be able to take on hordes of enemies with a wild range of over-the-top weaponry. Build up kill streaks, multi-kill bonuses and all sorts of other rewards for choosing the unnecessarily violent option in combat. Of course, no arcade mode is complete without a hotly contested leaderboard, and we want to discover which one of you is at the top of the bounty hunting food chain. So arm up, and see how far you can make it up our global leaderboard! We will also, of course, be releasing those much-loved Steam Achievements and Trading Cards when we launch. And finally, thanks to Steam Remote Play, the Steam release of Huntdown will let you enjoy Huntdown multiplayer experience with a friend online. As much as we’d love to play together in-person, slaying criminals with our buddies, that has sadly become difficult for many of us with global pandemics friggin with our ability to have couch co-op parties. Gaming has been such a powerful tool to bring people together over the past year, and we can’t wait to see everyone cleaning up the mean streets (virtually) side by side again!
