Huge WW2 MMO is like a more realistic Battlefield V, and it's exploding on Steam

Foxhole

Foxhole is a massively multiplayer game where thousands of players shape the outcome of a persistent online war. Every individual soldier is a player that contributes to the war effort through logistics, base building, reconnaissance, combat, and more.

The greatest war games are all about scale. Perhaps you remember Medal of Honor Allied Assault, the superlative FPS from 2002. By today's standards it may look antiquated, but back then, the Omaha Beach level was bigger and more alive than anything you'd seen before - it really felt like a huge-scale battle, with thousands of soldiers and vehicles. Battlefield V can also feel suitably expansive. Likewise Hell Let Loose. But there's one unique MMO that is bigger than all of them, and still, somehow, manages to slip beneath the radar. A combination of Civilization's building and logistics and the co-op tactics of Commandos, it's just gotten an enormous new update, and now, Foxhole is close to breaking its all-time record on Steam.
