We have launched a new security protection mechanism called the [OTP Authenticator]. Players can use the "Google Authenticator" app to bind and verify their accounts, reducing the risk of account theft. Let's see how to apply for it.
Step 1: On your mobile device, go to the "App Store" or "Google Play Store" and download the "Google Authenticator" app.
Step 2: Log in to the member center of [Eden Eternal] on our official website. Choose [OTP Application] to enter the application process for the authenticator.

Step 3: After clicking on the logo, open the app and select "Begin Setup" -> "Scan Barcode". Scan the QR code, and a series of numbers will appear.

Step 4: Enter the obtained number in the space provided for [Enter Token], and click "Next". A message will appear below confirming the successful binding.

Please note that the input should only contain six digits, without any spaces or other symbols.
If you encounter the message "Two-step verification failed. Please enter a valid verification code" even when you have entered the correct number, it might be due to the following reasons:
(1) Time discrepancy between your mobile device and Google's server time.
Troubleshooting:
Enable the [Automatic Date & Time] setting on your mobile device.
For Android users, after completing Step 1, go to the app's settings page and select "Adjust Code Time" -> "Sync Now" -> restart the app and proceed with the binding using the displayed code.
(2) Incorrect entry or expired verification code within the valid timeframe.
Troubleshooting:
The verification code has a specific validity period. The app will display a six-digit code along with its expiration time. If it turns red, it means the code is about to expire. You will be provided with a new code afterward. Please make sure to complete the relevant process within the valid timeframe.
Step 5: After completing the setup, when you open the game and reach the login interface, enter your correct account credentials. A verification webpage will appear. At this point, open your app and enter the six-digit number displayed above your account into the [Enter Verification Code] field on the verification webpage. Click "Verify". If entered correctly, a message will appear.

Afterward, click the back button in the top left corner to log in to the game normally.

Once the verification is successful, you won't need to verify again when logging in from the same device within seven days.
To cancel the OTP Authenticator:
Step 1: Go to the in-game store interface and click on [AIHELP]. Report your request to cancel the OTP verification and provide your login IP location (which can be found through online searches) for verification by our staff.

Step 2: After the customer service staff assists with the cancellation, proceed to delete the app.
Please note that if you directly perform Step 2 without going through Step 1 to apply for cancellation, your account will remain in a bound state, and you won't be able to log in normally in the future.
