House of Legacy: Demo Coming to a Close Soon!

House of Legacy

Early autumn, as rebel forces breached the city walls, you found yourself at the helm of your surviving kin, embarking on an arduous journey. Seeking refuge in the last bastion of unyielding hope, a county seat untarnished by the chaos, you ignited the flames of a nascent dynasty.

Dear friends of House of Legacy, We sincerely thank you for your support during the Steam Next Fest. Many players have engaged deeply with our demo, and we greatly appreciate the valuable feedback and suggestions we’ve received through social media and direct messages. We understand that some players have expressed a desire for more time to experience the game. In response, we have decided to extend the demo availability until October 31st to accommodate those interested in trying House of Legacy. We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions regarding the current demo version and consulted with our development team to provide the following responses: Q: In the demo, family names and character names are randomized. Will customization be possible in future versions? A: We apologize for the randomization in this demo; it was chosen for various reasons. However, we have observed that some players enjoy the quirky names generated randomly. We plan to implement customizable name options in the official release. Q: The game requires manual clicking for quantity selections. Will there be improvements in this area? A: We have received feedback regarding the user interface and the convenience of quantity settings, as well as suggestions for optimizing the family tree and addressing balance issues. We take these concerns seriously and are working to improve them. Q: The building experience feels somewhat clunky. Will adjustments be made to this aspect? A: We apologize for the less-than-optimal experience for players who enjoy building mechanics. We have gathered constructive suggestions from various platforms, including Discord and Twitter, particularly regarding building module improvements. We appreciate your understanding and support, and we will work on enhancing the building mechanics in future updates. Q: There seems to be room for improvement in the tutorial. Will future versions feature an improved guide? A: The tutorial in this demo was developed under a tight timeframe, resulting in incomplete guidance. We plan to enhance the tutorial with more detailed instructions in future updates. Q: When will the game officially launch? We have heard unconfirmed reports suggesting a release within this year. A: We are actively working on the feedback and bug fixes from this test. The game is still in development, and we have additional tests and preparations to complete before launch. As a result, we do not yet have a confirmed release date. We will keep you updated on any relevant developments regarding the launch through our social media channels and player groups. In the coming weeks, we will dedicate more time to the development and optimization of House of Legacy, addressing the feedback we have received. We have encountered numerous creative and engaging suggestions from players during the demo period, which inspire us to incorporate them into the game. We aim to keep you informed about our progress after each development cycle.
