We finally found what was causing some players to experience an unresponsive main menu. We spent the majority of our day installing an launching the game on almost 20 laptops, PC and everything in between, trying to find the common thread between all of these machines and we found that it wasn't a performance issue. As it turns out, a recent flag in one of our controller updates affected any device that had touch capability, disabling input if touch was enabled (for instance to disable the trackpad on a Dualsense 4). This is why a pretty large but inconsistent number of you were affected. The recent hotfix should fix this.
