Was that headline too cliché? :D So,[b] EXPLODING BABIES IS FINALLY ON STEAM! Pretty damn cool! [/b] This is the first actual game Nutfarm is going to actually release on an actual platform. So sorry for all the n00b weirdness that's probably going to happen, with us stumbling towards the perfect launch. For anyone that's interested, here's some backstory on why and how: Exploding Babies started as a jam project a while back. One of the members of our totally random team said that she didn't care what the game will be about, as long as it'll be about blowing up babies. We all agreed it was totally reasonable. So, we made the game (kind of), and it ended up being a pretty simple one stick, one button kinda casual arena brawler. The jam project was our first, actually, so we didn't have nearly enough time to make it fully operational.. I think originally all the player babies were crawling sideways, there was no score counters etc.. but we wanted to somehow finish it, because people seemed to like playing it, even in that totally unfinished, ugly state. We thought we'd just kind of finish the game to entertain ourselves and our need to END stuff we BEGiN, but little by little the game just started to feel too cool to NOT push to stores. We showcased the game in an early alpha / prototype stage at a couple of local events and people still really liked the gameplay - they even remembered us from the last event.. as "that crew with the crazy baby game!" So - here we are - hoping to push Exploding Babies to Early Access during the summer months, with a final release hopefully not long after that. As this is our first time launching anything on Steam, we really hope to build a community that we can exchange ideas with, discuss future content, create kick-ass events and generally just have a flaming turdball of a good time! There's also going to be a separate announcement about our Discord server and how to be a part of that awesomeness in the near future.. So definitely stay tuned!
