Hail Britannia is a text-based game with lite RPG elements set in an alternate 1944 where the Central Powers won World War 1.
[b]Quality of Life:[/b]
- Cooldown indicators have been added to abilities in combat.
- All text in the game is now black for better contrast, with a few exceptions.
- Global Events now show how decisions change your influence with Canada-Exile and Capitalist-Communist.
- Companion Soldiers now have random names at the beginning of a battle.
[b]Balance Changes:[/b]
- Morale Crusher buff now gives +2 damage, +1 defense, +2 heal, +1 cover (instead of +5 damage, +5 defense, +2 heal, +3 cover)(characters saved with the old buff will keep the old values).
- Combat Medic damage increased to 3 (instead of 2)(characters saved with the old value will keep the old values).
- Anti-Communist By Heart buff now gives +1 defense (instead of 4)(characters saved with the old value will keep the old values).
- Tank Driver damage decreased to 6 (instead of 10)(characters saved with the old value will keep the old values).
- The Adrenaline ability now does 10 damage (instead of 15).
- The Focused Shot ability now does 8 damage (instead of 9).
- The Suppressive Fire ability now does 4 damage and 3 cover (instead of 5 damage and 5 cover).
- Nearly all battles have been adjusted to be more difficult.
[b]Bug Fixes:[/b]
- Various grammar errors fixed.
- Fixed a bug where an extra space was added after each dialogue line while in a conversation.
- Fixed a bug where enemy health could go below zero when hit with a ability.
- Fixed a bug where the "enemy is killed" message wouldn't show up when killed by a ability.
- Fixed a bug where the player would have to perform another action to progress a battle if the enemy was killed by a ability.
- Combat Medic's Smoke Grenades now works properly.
- Tank Driver's Repair ability now works properly.
- Fixed a rare bug where the "Continue" button during combat could become misaligned
- Fixed a bug where loading a Foot Soldier or Tank Driver save after playing as a Combat Medic would make the enemies attack the medic's Companion Soldiers.
- Fixed a bug where enemy health could go below zero if killed by Companion Soldiers.
- Fixed a bug where Companion Soldiers health could go below zero if killed by the enemy.
- Fixed a bug where the Player's health could go below zero if killed by the enemy.
- Fixed a bug where buffed cover was added to the target's defense despite not taking cover.
- Fixed a bug where buffed healing wasn't applied to the Heal Ally ability.
- Fixed a bug where the displayed amount healed was higher than max healthpoints.
