When I launched the game, I made a critical mistake: I developed an essential function for the game’s economy based on something that only worked in the developer’s environment. This led to a lot of justified criticism at launch because the game simply didn’t work as it should for you, the players. This period was extremely difficult for me. I spent more than 72 hours almost without sleep trying to fix the issue and make the game minimally functional. However, it was in vain, as the game’s economy had already been completely compromised. This experience deeply affected me, especially as I was already dealing with financial, personal, and professional challenges. The pressure was so overwhelming that I fell into a deep depression. I reached a point where I couldn’t see a way out and made an extreme decision. My neighbor saw me and saved my life. After that, I spent two months in a psychiatric clinic. Upon returning home, I faced a period of disorientation, insomnia, and uncertainty about the future. On top of everything, the game was an undeniable commercial failure. Despite that, I decided to invest even more money into the project simply because of my love for game development. Creating games has always been my passion, and even amidst financial difficulties, I chose to keep improving something I truly believe in. After a lot of internal and external struggles, I managed to get back on track and refocus on the game. With dedication and learning, I implemented the fusion feature that was essential to the game’s economy. Today, I’m happy to say it’s here, working as it should, and I hope you enjoy this experience to the fullest. I deeply thank the community that believed in and waited, even during the toughest times. You are part of this journey and the reason I kept fighting. If you’ve made it this far, thank you so much for reading. I’m always open to hearing your feedback and suggestions, as they’re fundamental for us to keep evolving together.
