Security: The Horrible Nights is a horror anthology, so we had a dream of bringing in guest storytellers, as the variety of voices is one of the things we love about this format. We had a wishlist of 5 voices we wanted to include, and 4 of them are in this DLC! The final voice is the players, which will be the second free DLC. It is still possible to make suggestions for this DLC. Remember to keep it short and not too much detail, as this will increase your chances of being included. We're looking for ideas that surprise us either in a scary or funny way!

Can you survive the stories from our horror experts?
ManlyBadassHero, who has played more indie horror games on his YouTube channel than most. He almost always ends his videos with a short reflection on what makes the game good and bad. He has played several of our previous games. We were super excited to see what he could come up with, with his vast experience, and we are pretty happy with what his story ended up being.
The Mason Scale is our personal favorite horror game reviewer. If you're into horror games, check out his YouTube channel, where there are plenty of reviews. You can clearly feel his love for psychological horror in his story. It's been a lot of fun trying to bring his eerie ideas to life.
Alpha Beta Gamer was the first to share our very first horror game, the 6-minute long The ER. Ever since, we've returned again and again to his website and YouTube channel, because here you'll find just loads of indie horror gold. He also came up with a classic, crazy and super 80s horror story, which was super cool because that's the period the game is inspired by.
Mathias Clasen is a horror researcher at Aarhus University. He is the author of “Why Horror Seduces” and “A Very Nervous Person's Guide to Horror Movies”. He will be on the radio in the game where he will answer questions like: Is a horror film a good date film? What are the positive effects of playing horror games? And many other thrilling things he has learned through his research. Maria, our graphic designer, used our first horror game (The ER) as part of her bachelor project at university. She used a text by Mathias Clasen in her project, so he has inspired us since the beginning, so it was great to have him in the game.
We hope you enjoy the DLC, and let us know which story you liked best. We're curious.
