One of our main goals with this update is to address much of the excellent feedback we've received since the official release of the game.
Free Roaming Mode
Investigating a murder is tough work. Sometimes you just want to roam the streets and enjoy some interesting conversations. Free Roaming is a highly requested feature that'll let you do just that. Its the perfect mode for drivers looking to fill up their Passidex!
Revamped Passenger System
Night Call features a large cast of characters, many of which have multiple scenes to experience. One of the problems players often ran in to, was that they'd repeatedly meet the same passengers over and over, instead of ones they hadn't seen. The team have addressed this with some major changes in how we handle passengers in the game: - If there are passengers you haven't met yet, at least 1 will always show up on the map. - Greatly increased the amount of available passengers on the map at any time to allow for more player choice. - Avaialable passengers that you've already met, and had a particular scene with, will be grayed out on the map. You may still want to pick them up to replay the scene in a different way to unlock new entries in your Passidex though. - Suspects in an active investigation are now highlighted in gold on the map, so you won't mistake them for regular folks. - Reworked the spawn rates of passengers across the board to better balance rare and common passengers.
