First Updates 12/20/24

Hello! Thank you for being a part of our first week of Early Access! We got some great feedback and watched some gameplay that gave us insight on a few initial bugs/visual bugs, though fortunately, no outright crashes were reported or seen, which we consider a win! Because of the upcoming holidays, we've decided to only tackle technical issues/bugs and a little QOL stuff before working on content updates, but don't worry, we'll be starting on that soon! :) Below are the specific updates to the build(s) for this update: Demo Build:

Main menu updated with blood settings
Demo Race updated with better lighting
Master Volume in the demo should start at 20 percent (volume when starting a video game is a meme and we're trying to be the change we want to see in the world)
Gameplay tutorial video added before players start for the first time
Early Access Build

Cloud Saving officially enabled (tested with multiple PCs/Steamdeck and saves are being updated)
Players can only engage one activity at a time
Bonus Race placement should be updating correctly (mostly, still going to improve on this in the future, but placement should be correct at the finish line)
Some Sound FX were not connected to the SFX channel, causing very loud SFX to go off.
Updated turning animation of player to not engage as easily if players are pushing forward on the joystick
Grind activities were spawning off center, should be corrected now
Grind activity UI had some visual bugs sometimes that should be corrected now
Boost lines should turn off during cinematics
Boss Enemy ATK animations were disconnecting during play. That should be fixed and ATKs updated slightly (The boss may be a little harder now... good luck!)
Thank you again to everyone who hopped on this first week of release! We appreciate you so much! If you have any technical issues or opinions on the game so far, please feel free to fill out a feedback form! There is a separate bug report form in the feedback form (keeping it separate helps us to keep track of technical issues). I know it's a lot to ask, but we would love to see more people leave a review of our game. Steam games live and die based on how quickly they get their first 10 reviews, so if you find the time, we would appreciate it immensely! (no pressure though, we love ya either way!) Thank you again and Happy Holidays to you and yours! Zach Two Brain Games
