First Reveal: BMW Cars and Management Gameplay

[p]We’re excited to officially reveal the first content of Endurance Motorsport Series, featuring BMW cars and the iconic Fuji Speedway. It’s also time to introduce one of the key gameplay elements for success: the Engineer role.[/p][p] [/img][/p]
👨‍💼 Driving Style Management
[p]Endurance Motorsport Series is more than a racing game, as you are playing as a driver but also as an engineer and team principal. Strategy is everything in racing, and even more so in endurance racing, where many factors influence your team’s performance. Today, we’re presenting the Driving Style Management feature, a crucial part of building your winning race plan.[/p][p][/p][p][/img][/p][p]From the Driving Style Management screen, you can instruct your drivers to adopt a more aggressive or more conservative approach. Aggressive driving can help push lap times and allow quicker overtakes from your driver, but it comes with higher risks: from minor mistakes to crashes. Tyre degradation will also be more important with a faster pace which could force you to call your car to the pits sooner than expected. As a team principal, but also with your driving skills and your engineer choices, your role is to find the perfect balance and adapt your strategy in real time. You can also manage engine maps: there are six maps available, with Map 6 delivering maximum performance, and Map 1 optimizing fuel consumption while reducing the overall performance. These options are available both when you are playing as an engineer and as a driver yourself. Smart use of engine maps will help you adapt to race conditions: saving fuel when needed or going full throttle when it matters most.[/p][p][/p]
🏎️ BMW Joins the Hypercar & GT3 Classes
[p]BMW enters the Endurance Motorsport Series paddock with two amazing race cars: the BMW M Hybrid V8 in the Hypercar class, and the BMW M4 GT3, both proven winners on the world’s biggest endurance stages.[/p][p][/p][p][/img][/p][p]Introduced in 2023, the BMW M Hybrid V8 marked BMW’s return to top-tier endurance racing. This car is the spiritual successor to the legendary BMW V12 LMR, which won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1999.[/p][p]The M Hybrid V8 achieved 2nd place at the 2023 12 Hours of Sebring in only its second race. It scored its first win at Watkins Glen a few months later. In 2024, it won again in Indianapolis and made its debut in the FIA World Endurance Championship, finishing 5th in the Hypercar Manufacturers’ standings.[/p][p][/p][p][/img][/p][p]BMW’s legacy in GT racing is just as strong. The BMW M4 GT3, which debuted in 2022, immediately claimed the DTM Drivers’ and Teams’ titles. In 2023, it won the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, BMW’s record-extending 25th victory at the iconic race. And at the 2025 Bathurst 12 Hours, Team WRT scored a 1-2 finish, with the #32 car (Augusto Farfus / Kelvin van der Linde / Sheldon van der Linde) just ahead of the #46 car led by motorcycle legend Valentino Rossi. Located in Japan, on the foothills of the Mount Fuji, the track first hosted a major international endurance race in 1982, part of the World Sportscar Championship. That race, a six-hour event, was won by Jacky Ickx and Jochen Mass. The series returned to Fuji until 1988 with a 1000km format. [/img][/p][p]Fuji underwent major renovations from 2003 to 2005, introducing modern facilities and some layout adjustments designed by Hermann Tilke. In 2012 the 6 Hours of Fuji was back in the brand new FIA World Endurance Championship and has been held every year since (2020 and 2021 excepted) in September or October. [/p][p][/p][p]With a 1.5 km-long main straight and several technical low-speed corners, Fuji is all about balance. Knowing when to be aggressive, and when to be careful. Managing engine maps and driving style will be key to mastering the circuit. And don’t forget the weather: rain is frequent here, and smart weather management can make or break your race.[/p][p][/p]
📹 BMW Motorsport Teaser Trailer
[p]See the BMW M Hybrid V8 and the BMW M4 GT3 in action in Endurance Motorsport Series![/p][previewyoutube="vz-oefp9PT8;full"][/previewyoutube][p]We’ll be revealing more features, cars, and race tracks over the coming weeks and months.
