A new hotfix update for Franchise Hockey Manager 9, version 9.4.107, has just been released to fix some issues with the most recent update.
Your existing savegames will be compatible with the updated game.
This hotfix is primarily to correct the problem causing intermittent long delays (5+ minutes on some days) while simulating, but we were also able to address a few other problems that had easy fixes. We've had a number of reports of crashing that we suspect were related to the delay problem and should be fixed now, but if they continue after this update, we'll have to take another look at them next week.
Changes:
-fixed long delays caused by potential loop in trading/transfer logic, particularly when close to European transfer deadlines
-fixed issue with all-star game "vs. World" format that could cause a crash while generating the skills competition email if one team didn't have enough goalies
-fixed potential crash with all-star conference vs. conference games with the "one player per team" rule enabled and an odd number of teams in a conference
-removed a couple of players in historical mode that were duplicates of existing players; also corrected a problem that was resulting in some players appearing in the database when they should be inactive
-should no longer be possible to offer a preseason tryout to players who are still draft-eligible
-"Make this work" trade option will no longer request players who are on the team due to a preseason tryout
