Each Fate presents a distinct challenge that alters the core mechanics of combat, forcing you to adapt and overcome. Success brings greater rewards, but failure will come swiftly for the unprepared. [h2]Inevitable Fate of Atropos – The Path of Caution [/h2] Atropos, the Fate who cuts the thread of life, has placed a dangerous condition on your journey. Every strike you land is fatal to your enemies, but be warned—one misstep, one blow from an enemy, and Achilles will meet his end. In this mode, precision and caution are your greatest allies. However, any hit Achilles takes will also instantly kill him. Shield usage is crucial, but you cannot throw it or use items from your belt. No Weapon Skills are allowed. [h2]Fate of Clotho the Spinner – The Path of Aggression [/h2] Clotho spins the thread of life, but in this trial, time itself is your enemy. Your health drains steadily with each passing second, forcing you to stay on the offensive. The only way to stop the clock is by entering Heroic Vigor, while every enemy you slay through your Drain Souls ability grants a second chance to survive. In this Fate, relentless aggression is the key to staying alive. You can use Drain Souls anytime, healing 300 HP per kill. No items from the belt or inventory can be used, and in HV, you can only use Drain Souls to heal. [h2] Fate of Lachesis The Allotter – The Path of Endurance [/h2] Lachesis, the Fate who measures the thread of life, has sent forth a relentless pursuer to test your endurance. A powerful Lajstrygon hunts you across every map, immune to direct damage but vulnerable to status effects. This monstrous foe will grow stronger, faster, and more dangerous over time, making every moment a desperate struggle for survival. Outsmart it or be consumed by its wrath. The Lajstrygon grows stronger over time and inflicts friendly damage on other enemies. Its health resets if you reload the session, and the Ariadne’s Thread item can despawn it on the same map where it was spawned.
