Events Demo – October 16, 2025 Update & Patch Notes

[p]Thanks to a ton of feedback, there has been some significant changes made in the upcoming demo build. [/p][p]Report System Rework[/p]

[p]The Reporting System has been reworked to avoid further confusion about how it functions. It will now always send a report type of good or bad (no more “empty clicks,” a.k.a. LMB not reporting) when sending a report request (LMB).[/p][p]Previously, it was assumed that reports could only be sent if there was an active anomaly, which was never the case.[/p][p]The original system was intentionally a bit more complex and confusing, but I’ve simplified it for peace of mind. (Sorry for the headache!)[/p][/*]
[p][/p][p]Training / Tutorial Changes[/p]

[p]The Training / Tutorial level has received a drastic nerf to make it easier for players to complete.[/p][/*]
[p]A new option now appears during the “Begin Training?” prompt and when clicking on “Select Location” that lets you skip training entirely if you haven’t completed it yet. You’ll still receive the rewards as if you had finished training.[/p][/*]
[p]Additional minor fixes and adjustments.[/p][/*]
[p][/p][p]New Player Hints[/p]

[p]After completing or skipping the Training / Tutorial, players will now receive a one-time hint prompt explaining how to access the in-game Shop.[/p][p]This was added to help players who missed the README instructions or forgot how to reach it. You can always open the README file on your desktop anytime.[/p][/*]
[p][/p][p]Threat Spawn Timers & Grace Period[/p]

[p]Increased the initial grace period before threats begin spawning by 50% on Easy and 30% on Hard. This gives players more time to get familiar with the normal layout of everything.[/p][/*]
[p]Increased the Threat Spawn delay range by 40% on Easy and 25% on Hard to make pacing more manageable across difficulties.[/p][/*]
[p][/p][p]Bug Fixes[/p]

[p]Apartments level (Hard difficulty) – Fixed a minor bug with the Fusebox System where array data wasn’t consistently selecting and triggering switches, often showing all switches as green (turned on). The system should now correctly disable randomly selected switches. (RIP master switch-only flippers)[/p][/*]
[p]Additional minor bug fixes.[/p][/*]
[p][/p][p]Thank you for checking out the demo! If you encounter any further issues, feel free to reach out and let me know.[/p]
