We would like to provide additional explanations regarding the SC pattern content included in the Season 13 update and the ongoing DPC2024, as there were parts that lacked sufficient clarity and explanation from the original announcement. Firstly, the purpose of conducting DJMAX Pattern Challenge is not to supplement the insufficient SC patterns but to discover high-quality pattern designers based on creativity. This will enable us to produce and offer even better patterns in the future. Previous DJMAX Pattern Challenges may have impeded participants' autonomy by not allowing the creation of SC patterns for already serviced tracks. In response, for DPC2024, we have decided to allow participants to create patterns for all tracks regardless of the presence of SC patterns. Thus, participants can select from a broader range of tracks and create freely, and we are providing all tracks from V EXTENSION 1 for this DPC. However, to prevent confusion among participants regarding the inclusion of V EXTENSION 1 DLC's new SC patterns in the CLEAR PASS S13 during the DPC period, we would like to offer further clarification on changes for DPC2024 as detailed below. 1) Starting this year, the DPC exclusive mode will be open continuously after the commencement of the finals. From the start of the final judgment, a button to access the DPC will be activated at the top-right corner of the quick menu. This allows everyone to freely play the finalist and award-winning patterns anytime, even when the DPC is not in session, as shown in the screenshot below. This change addresses the previous limitation of not being able to produce SC patterns for tracks that already have them, thereby providing an opportunity for everyone to enjoy your creative patterns. Additionally, as with past DPCs, award winners will still have the opportunity to create official patterns. We apologize once again for any confusion caused by the lack of explanation in the initial DPC2024 announcement. To allow participants to enhance the quality of their patterns and make any necessary adjustments following the Season 13 SC pattern update, we have extended the submission period until 00:00 KST on September 16. Furthermore, we will strive to ensure that the update of official SC patterns does not negatively impact the judging criteria, aiming to run a fair and transparent DPC.
