DEVLOG 3. Live mode. Active Careers and Characters updates

Vivaland

A life sim where 1-8 players can craft their stories in a modern small-town. Create unique characters, steer their lives and careers! Let them breathe life into your unique town in Vivaland.

Hey neighbors, Vivers, and all you enthusiasts! We've got some updates about our ongoing development. As you know, we're hard at work on the life mode and are eager to share some news with you. Let's dive deeper into our town and explore how everything is organized: We aim to make it feel like you're living in a cozy little town where everyone helps out, and the town thrives thanks to its residents. We're planning to fill it with green spaces to create a tranquil retreat. We're starting with four types: 1. Culinary: You could open a quaint café right on your property or run a fine dining restaurant. 2. Farming: Grow veggies on your roof or even print meat right in your kitchen! Use what you produce to whip up delicious meals or sell them to your neighbors and local cafes. 3. Engineering: The town needs someone to fix cars and machines, invent new gadgets for gardens and cafes, or simply enjoy experimenting. 4. Music: Start a band with friends and play at local venues or just jam in your backyard. Sure, you can try doing all these careers solo with some npc’s to help out, but trust us, it’s way more fun with real friends. Also, meet our first townies: Adam and Eve, Don’t worry, they're just our test dummies, not the ones from the garden! It was quite the challenge, trying to upgrade our characters while maintaining their core structure – same bones, same body mesh. We're excited about how it turned out and can’t wait to hear what you think!
