[p]A couple days ago, we’ve shared new gameplay showing where Responding is today. The response and engagement around that update have been incredibly encouraging, and it’s been great to see so many people react to the direction the game is heading.
As development has continued, it’s become clear that our original release window no longer reflects the quality bar we want to meet at launch. The foundation of Responding is now solid, and the moment-to-moment gameplay is starting to feel like what the game is meant to be, but we want to take additional time to ensure that experience is consistent, polished, and stable across longer play sessions.
With that in mind, we’re moving the release window to March 2026.
This decision wasn’t made lightly. It’s driven by progress and by a commitment to delivering a strong first impression when Responding arrives on Steam. We want the initial release to clearly represent the depth of its systems and the type of experiences the game is built around, rather than rushing into Early Access before that foundation is fully ready.
Development is active and ongoing, and we’ll continue sharing gameplay and updates as we move forward. The footage shown in our latest video reflects the current state and direction of the game, and the additional time will allow us to refine that foundation without unnecessary compromises.
Thank you for your continued support. We’re confident this extra time will result in a better experience for everyone.
