Astrophobia is a low poly 4 player co-op alien hunting game. Use the equipment to find out what type of alien you and your team are dealing with and capture it from the premises.
Hello there!
We're a small team of two working on our upcoming title, Astrophobia. We're first-time game developers and asset creators. I figured that I would give a small story about how we got here.
We initially started off as 'Apparitions', which was a ghost-investigation game. However, during development, we did a lot of wrong things which eventually started to make things more and more difficult and adding on features was a pain. Along with this, we figured that even with using assets from the Unity Store, it was hard to match up our game look with new assets due to the high quality nature of our game. So, we revised our idea and created Astrophobia instead.

Astrophobia is a low-poly alien investigation game, where you go into each investigation with a blind eye, and you need to figure out what alien has taken over the property and capture it with some fruit from the fridge. Astrophobia's visual-appeal was much more intriguing for us, as the game is low-poly it gave us the flexibility to create our own assets much easier and quicker and have it still match our style.
We began the work on our revamp from Aug 2022 this year, and during this time from then to now we have done so much work to the game that things are finally starting to come together very nicely. We started work on Multiplayer which albeit, was a mistake so late into development, but we're working around the hurdles now and doing what we can to ensure that Multiplayer is as smooth experience as can be.
It's been a very fun journey for us to far to work and develop on this game, mainly from a first-time perspective but also getting to learn all the new ways to do handle things better as we work more and more towards the finish line.
Wishlists
I am aware we have a couple hundred people that have wishlisted Astrophobia, and I do want to say thank you very very much! Getting to see that number rise over the time we've been working on the game has been very fun for us and has been a huge motivator to get the game out and ready for the public!
