Looks like something is lurking just around the corner đ. Itâs a new update! [b]Update 0.52[/b] will be landing early next week and we canât wait to share it with you!
As revealed in our updated roadmap, Update 0.52 will be bringing you a taste of the new Weapon Skills System that weâve been hard at work on. A whopping 24 new Weapon Skills and gun types will be arriving in ZERO Sievert next week and they only get better the more you use them!
As always, we will have a full list of patch notes detailing everything included on release. For now, hereâs some highlights of whatâs to come.

[i][b]24 New Weapon Skills[/b][/i] and gun types will be added to ZERO Sievert and these will be replacing the legacy gun skills. We believe it will add a really immersive and dynamic playstyle to the game. For now, weâll highlight some of the ones we are really excited about!
[b]Close Quarters Training[/b]
Minimum effective ranges are no issue anymore with the new [b]Close Quarters Training[/b] as this skill reduces the minimum effective range of a weapon by 40%! This could also be great for those hunting trips when you donât want to carry a short-range secondary weapon.
[i][b]Weapon classes applicable:[/b][/i] Assault Rifles Tier 2, DMRs Tier 2, Sniper Rifles Tier 3
[b]Fast Focus[/b]
Speed is your middle name with the [b]Fast Focus[/b] skill. Hover over the target with the cursor to make the cross-hair shrink more quickly.
[i][b]Weapon classes applicable:[/b][/i] SMGs Tier 1, Assault Rifles Tier 1, DMRs Tier 1, Sniper Rifles Tier 1
[b]Marksmen Awareness[/b]
Shout out to our Hunters who love a good snipe but hate the restriction, weâve created the perfect skill for you! When using a weapon while scoped, you will be able to partially see the area beyond the reticle interface, while the cross-hair will also be instantly visible.
[i][b]Weapons classes applicable:[/b][/i] DMRs Tier 1, Sniper Rifles Tier 1
[b]Penetrating Shot[/b]
Mobs have no chance against you now, as a killing shot will result in the bullet continuing on its path to hit a target behind the first enemy!
[i][b]Weapons classes applicable[/b][/i]: SMGs Tier 3, Shotguns Tier 3, Assault Rifles Tier 3, DMRs Tier 3, Sniper Rifles Tier 3
[b]Reload Artist: Speed Reload[/b]
Bullets go brr with this skill! Double-pressing the reload button will speed up the reload process of magazine-fed weapons. However, any ammunition already in the magazine will be lost.

Weâve also implemented some other features and implemented various bug fixes that have been niggling the community. Full list of details will be revealed in next weekâs patch notes.
