It has infinite charges and is your most primitive way to fight. It shoots a high speed projectile that deals damage if an enemy is hit. An interesting thing, which we’re sure a lot of you are familiar with, is the knockback of its blast. Since it does not damage you the Normal attack spell can be used as a crafty way to traverse terrain and reach new heights. A basic but great synergy to use is Fire and Void. Fire’s damage is most efficient if enemies stay within the burning ground. Most players run away as soon as their screen starts flashing in red but you can prevent that. Use Void, and let them cook! Your enemies (and maybe some allies) will be stuck at the center of the Void while the burning ground chips away their HP. Next up we’ve got Void again but this time paired with Repulse. Repulse is usually rewarding enough to use without any other spell but combined with Void’s pulling force, the damage dealt to enemies will be maximized. Aim good and enjoy watching the enemies that end up squished between the pulling and pushing forces die. Freeze is a perfect alternative to Void’s crowd control. You fire a projectile that freezes the enemy, which is a perfect opportunity to use Radiation. The problem with Radiation is that it usually gets canceled or players just run away, but how will they if they’re frozen? It’s a great way to approach one versus two scenarios, which yeah we’ve all been there… The examples shown require you to possess all the spells you’re going to need for these combinations. But don’t forget that it’s a team game. We hope to see you make incredible spell soups, in which your enemies are confused as they lose HP faster than you can say “Spell”. That’s it for this DevBlog. We are sooo excited to witness some ridiculous spell combinations!
