Nevertheless, the bizarre and strange are closer to us than it may seem, in the banality of our lives, deep in our subconscious. Fear has no need for a glinting blade in the night to overcome us. We’re convinced that it is possible to convey horror in a different way, without the supernatural or bloodshed. That’s exactly what we’re trying to do with Decarnation! Rare or frequent, large or small, intentional or accidental, no individual can escape this intangible violence. And when this violence takes root in our fragile inner world, our entire wellbeing is shattered, as if we were trapped in an infernal kaleidoscope. It is this mental universe, chaotic and disrupted, lying dormant in each of us, that Decarnation allows you to explore. But where can we take refuge, how can we protect ourselves, if the monsters are inside us?
