After the Tyrant Hand is stolen by a mysterious figure, an ancient being awakens to return it to its rightful place before it's too late. Dash and Punch your way through corrupted dungeons that fall apart at the seams, meet colorful characters, battle powerful bosses and carve your legacy!
After almost 2 years in the making, I'm happy to announce that DASHPUNCH is finally launching into Early Access today! To celebrate, there's also a pretty significant launch discount to go along with the Steam Winter Sale; you can pick up DASHPUNCH at ~38% off for the next two weeks.
But enough about that! This is just Early Access! The future is still bright!!!
But what does this future look like, you might be asking? In truth, this is really just the beginning for DASHPUNCH. Currently, the game has content for the first 3 worlds out of an eventual 5, and there's plenty more to come on top of just finishing those up. More items, characters, legacies, and bosses are just the tip of the iceberg of what I have planned, so stay tuned! I'll probably try to cobble together a proper roadmap early next year, because I know the people love roadmaps.
As for the immediate, right-now future, I'm gonna be on standby keeping watch for any gamebreaking bugs for the next few days, then probably take a little time off for the holidays. See you soon!
And a huge shoutout to everyone who's shown interest in DASHPUNCH
Whether you're just reading this now after seeing the game for the very first time, or someone who's kept tabs on it for awhile now, I also just want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who's supported me and the game now and all along the way, I truly couldn't have done it without you! It feels so unreal to be here, finally releasing a real project to the world after decades of dreaming, theorycrafting with friends, speculating on what it might feel like to be in this very position. And... it's scary! Really scary! You never really know what anyone's going to think when you put out a project like this; even as I write this out, I still don't know! But regardless, DASHPUNCH is going to continue to improve well into 2025, of that much I'm certain, and I hope you can look forward to what I have in store for the game as much as I do.
