Hey there everyone, The entire Critter Café team is so excited to be a part of Steam Next Fest, and to be rolling out a demo for our game, available from October 14! This is your first chance to get an early taste of our cosy fantastical world, launching for Steam and Nintendo Switch on November 26. Whilst running and renovating your own café and serving treats to your guests, rescue Critters from mysterious puzzle-filled portals, and build bonds with your Critters to help make your café extra special. [/h2] The demo will include the first slice of the Critter Café experience, starting from the very beginning of the game. You’ll be able to play through the first handful of ‘days’ in the game, introducing you to key features and characters. You’ll have a chance to run your café for the first time, serving customers and fulfilling their orders via fun minigames. Also, you’ll be able to customise the look and layout of your café – from the furniture, to the wallpaper, to Critter toys – with an early set of unlocked items. Away from the café, you will have the chance to find and rescue your first two Critters. Rescuing them will require solving puzzles, which sometimes require tools to solve. You’ll get the first of those items during the demo.
