Create your custom graphic settings and improve your experience

Scrapland Remastered

The cult game that marked MercurySteam's origins returns; a sci-fi adventure with memorable characters, powerful ships and humor! Enjoy intense Multiplayer battles and races with ships you build.

Depending on your graphic card, you can improve your visual experience significantly on Scrapland Remastered. Please remember that you have to always check your performance with each change you make, and be sure that the FPS doesn't go down from 60. You can show the game's FPS by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+F9. First, in-game settings: You should configure the optimal resolution for your screen. Today, the typical configuration is 1920x1080, but Scrapland Remastered also supports 4K resolution, so you can configure 3840x2160. Please have in mind that your graphic card has to support this resolution, and the game has to run smoothly. However, Scrapland is a game from 2004. At that time, the screens had a 4:3 aspect ratio, so if you want to feel the original experience of that time, you should configure your resolution to 1440x1080 or 2880x2160 with 4K screens. Note that the graphic cards usually don't allow this resolution by default, but you can add custom resolution in your graphic card's drivers and, after that, use this resolution in your games or allow 4:3 gaming. We also recommend using the Anisotropic x8 texture filter and setting to High all other settings. And second, only for experienced users: You can add little hacks to your games. You have to open your graphic card's driver, find the applications' custom 3D settings and add the .exe file you want to modify. In this case, you will need to add the Scrap.exe (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Scrapland\Bin). You have several settings there, but we recommend just turning on the FXAA Antialiasing. Please, be aware that not all graphic cards support this feature, and the performance can decrease dramatically. Also, this can create some visual glitches on the game, so turn it off if you find an unpleasant experience. ¡Enjoy the D-Tritus adventure!
