BULLETHELL is an experimental, retro-hardcore, barely playable, ultra-fast-paced arena top-down shooter.
Not all ideas may fit the final version of a game. A melee enemy was tested and not fitted BULLETHELL due to how fluorescent the thug needed to be to be as visible as a bullet (and it was saved for another project). Guttural vocals on this soundtrack? It silenced the splash sounds after each KO (stored for future)... changing the pace to 30 seconds instead of 24? Worked! Now there are solid steps from the regular rank to S, SS, and SSS, giving the veterans a nice challenge without making the gameplay too short for the casual player. Some tweaks on the camping enemy with the purple bullet (working fine so far)... the new heroes worked pretty fine and were not changed. Achievements may enter in a few hours, and BULLETHELL is getting very close to how it should look without breaking the first concept, and it has spawned lots of elements for other projects that you will see soon!
