Hello Early Access players!
Here's a present for the holiday season, a new content update with new features, also features requested by the community.
[b]Note![/b] MacOS players will recieve this update during the holiday
[b]TL/DR patch notes:[/b]
[b]- Local hotseat multiplayer.[/b] Now you can play on one machine against another human player!
[b]- Game statistics. [/b]Check your number of wins, losses etc
[b]- Unlockables.[/b] You can adorn your player name with a prefix title to show off your progression and skill to other players.
[b]- Better AI on Hard and Nightmare difficulty.[/b] Easy and Medium will stay at their approximate difficulty level further on as well.
What we're working on next:
- Bugfix: Clicking "Reset" button on some tutorial levels does not work correctly.
- Bugfix: A situation was found where the king could be captured by 3 enemies around him.
- Bugfix: Check that Edge Fort mechanic is always triggered correctly.
- Bugfix: The king can capture a piece when the King lands on a corner tile and escapes.
- Issue: The timer on timed games in multiplayer does not synchronize correctly over all clients.
- Better feedback visuals, when winning a game for example or unlocking an unlockable
- Better AI for Hard and Nightmare difficulty.
Details:
Unlockable titles are found in "Player Profile" where you can click on an unlocked title and save to use the title.

Game Statistics are found in your "Player Profile", accessed by clicking the button "My Statistics".

Local Hotseat Multiplayer is accessed in the Multiplayer Menu, clicking the button "Local Hotseat".
