Hi everyone, This is a big patch including a whole new way to challenge yourself in Seer's Gambit. Thank you to everyone who helped test and give feedback while this was on the beta branch, with your help we've been able to create something really fun. [h2]New mode available: Endless Run[/h2] The Seer (and her heroes) have defeated the Cultist master, but the evil looming at the outskirts of reality is still attempting to push through the fabric separating our worlds. As you fight waves of increasingly difficult enemies, The Seer will grant you her boon at the end of each day. How long can you survive the onslaught? [*] Fixed a graphical error where characters and enemies would sometimes move behind the environment. [/list] [h2]Background for the Endless Mode[/h2] When we started development of Seer’s Gambit we first put together the combat loop and put it out for people to try. The game was simple. You would fight your way through a full day, then at the end get a choice between 3 buffs to your group. The goal was to get through as many days as you could before eventually getting destroyed by the ever more powerful foes. It was simple but people loved it. While a lot of you have told us how much you like exploring the overworld in Seer’s Gambit we’ve also gotten consistent requests to bring back Endless Mode. So here you are! What is Endless Mode? It’s designed to be a more challenging, bite-sized, roguelike version of the main game. No permanent meta-progression. Only your skills, choices and talent for luck will aid you in your quest to survive as many days as possible. Our next big patch will focus on adding the second item slot. We know a lot of you have been waiting for this and we hope to have something out on the beta branch for testing soon. Thank you again for all your support.
