This bit introduced the first character interaction (Meet Rotti!) and a brand new pickup truck design, that we want to explore further in this community update. 🚚 [h3]The 'OG' truck[/h3] When Truckful was first introduced 4 months ago, we presented the very first design of the pickup, with a bit [b]rounder body[/b], [b]oldschool looking headlights[/b] and a front grill that resembled 1950-60s truck design. It was also described as [b]cozy[/b], [b]cartoon-like[/b] and sometimes giving the impression of a toy - we felt like there is room to improve, especially considering much darker atmosphere and future upgrade sets. [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45117219/4c98f3ddaae753e83c75174eae849342429f8e3e.png[/img] Overall, we're happy with the look, however when it comes to [b]sturdiness[/b] or [b]vehicle stability[/b] on more demanding paths while carrying heavy cargo, we wanted to improve on all of these fields, also making room for future upgrade opportunities that play a major role in Truckful. [h3]New base truck[/h3] So what's new? We completely [b]redesigned the front grill[/b], making it much bigger and heftier. We [b]added a manufacturer emblem[/b] that can be also upgraded/changed later in the game, giving players an opportunity to customize the look as they like - adding [b]stickers[/b], [b]hood ornaments[/b] and more. We also wanted to put more emphasis on your truck's [b]powerful engine[/b] that will also be upgradable, so players could experience easier and faster uphill deliveries, alongside a bunch of benefits. We played with [b]new wheel arches[/b] as well, already thinking about how future upgrades.
