Hello witches, We have some news for you about an upcoming patch for The Witch of Fern Island. Here’s what you can expect for an update that’s coming earlier than you think: Optimization. We realize that our game has rather high system requirements, and we’re doing our best to remedy that, at least a bit. As such, expect optimization changes that should make the game run more smoothly on less powerful machines, and most importantly - on Steam Deck! Still, remember that if your system specs go too much beyond what we consider the minimum, worse performance is unavoidable. While we’re on the topic of optimization, please remember that there are some hurdles that are simply not passable. If you play on a laptop, always make sure that the game is using your actual graphics card, not the integrated one - this will make a massive difference. Controller. There were some issues with controls, and I dare say we resolved them quite well. Expect greatly improved experience when using them after the patch! Furniture. Simply put, you wanted more furniture, so we’re giving you more furniture. Just like that. We’re extremely nice!
