While developing the game and conducting playtesting, we noticed that the workflow for starting a new game can be a bit tedious and sometimes the players didn't know what to do.  With this feedback in mind, we developed and designed a new menu. In the new menu, all the relevant actions to start a game are on one screen. We also added little visual effects to breathe life into the new menu. So in the future, you can spend the time you used to spend in the menus on actual gameplay.
