We are thrilled to make our first official post about our upcoming game.
Most importantly, we want to assure you that the project has not been abandoned. On the contrary, for the first time in a long while, it is in the right hands.

[b]Changes Behind the Scenes[/b]
We wanted to let you know that we've made some significant changes behind the scenes. Unfortunately, our previous studio couldn't deliver the quality we envisioned, so we've taken over the development.
From now on, everything will change—from how we share the game's status to testing, communication, and so on.
[b]Current Stage of the Project[/b]
We are currently between the Vertical Slice and Alpha stages.
[b]For those unfamiliar with these terms:[/b]
This phase can last anywhere from 3 months up to 1.5 years, depending on various factors like idea iterations, development of game mechanics, implementation of feedback from playtests, and so on.
There's already a game here, but we still have plenty of work to do.

[b]Engine Switch[/b]
We've also decided to switch the game engine to better serve our vision.
When the time comes, we'll update our trailer and screenshots to reflect the new engine.

[b]Release Date[/b]
We know many of you have had this game on your wishlist for years, and we understand your frustration. We want to say sorry to all the players who have been waiting.
We do have an internal release date, but our studio's approach is simple: it'll be done when it's done. However, we can assure you that the release will definitely be before GTA VI comes out on PC.
[b]Communication[/b]
From now on, expect more frequent updates from us. As we get closer to major milestones, we'll keep you informed every step of the way. Once we have a playable version to share, we'll also launch a Discord server where you can engage with us directly.
Our ideal way of communicating with you is inspired by studios like Klei Entertainment (Don't Starve, Oxygen Not Included) and Supergiant Games. We aim to involve those of you who have the time to participate in the development process through a feedback loop.
As soon as we have a shareable playable build, we'll start using surveys to gather your thoughts, continually improving key gameplay features based on your feedback.

We're excited to share some early screenshots from the Vertical Slice version of the game. Please note that these images represent an early build; all models and graphics will be enhanced in quality, post-processing, and detail as development progresses.
