Cinnabunny Official Release Date Announcement

Cinnabunny

Cinnabunny is a cozy life simulator game where you play as a bunny who runs a bakery. Unlock new recipes, go birdwatching, collect mushrooms, and charm your community. Save up enough carrots to help your family move.
The Cinnabunny Closed Beta
The Cinnabunny beta is going extremely well. Of my many wonderful beta testers, I've had about five people take it directly upon themselves to break the game at all costs. You may be thinking, aw that's mean, but nay! It is actually the most incredibly helpful thing in the world! These testers would be payed top dollar at a quality assurance company. Their helpfulness and diligence has greatly assisted me in finding lots of niche bugs (and some admittedly not niche ones) and we've been a great team to get Cinnabunny in a very stable state. I'm sure there will be some more things to iron out in the next couple of months, but over the past 13 days since the beta's release, I've put out five patches with tons of additions, gameplay tweaks, and bug fixes, due in large part to their reports.
Release Date Announcement
I've taken stock of where I am with the game, and what still needs to be accomplished before release. And, well, I'm going to do something no Kickstarter developer has ever done before. I'm going to release... early! DUH DUH DUH!!! When the Kickstarter for Cinnabunny launched, I told my backers that I was planning for a mid-March release. Well, I'm beyond excited to share the official Steam release date... That's right! Cinnabunny will be launching at 1pm EST on February 19th, 2025. That's less than two months away! Now, I'm sure some of you might be thinking, "well, hold on there, cowboy. What's the deal? You trying to rush the release or something?" Nope! It's really quite straightforward: the game is in a good state, I have dedicated beta testers that are helping me iron out all the nasty bugs, and the game is simply going to be ready earlier than I thought. Cinnabunny is a game three years in the making, two of those full time. I've worked very hard and I stand by the games I put out; Cinnabunny is ready for the world! Additionally, I'm not going to abandon the game after release. I'm not sure I explicitly stated this anywhere yet, but I do plan to continually update Cinnabunny with new features and content (and bug fixes, of course) just like I did with my previous game Bunhouse. You have my word that any future content for Cinnabunny after release will be completely free; there will never be in game purchases or paid DLC. Thank you all for your support! And please share the Cinnabunny steam page with anyone who you think might enjoy it!
