Chef’s Diary. Part 2

Hey, it’s me again! Today I cooked my first dishes. It wasn’t that hard — at least, for now. Just some easy and quick salads. So, how exactly does it go? First I take the order, and since I have no idea what the exact recipe is, I ask the customer to write the ingredients on a note. Not something you’d be asked in a regular restaurant, so I tell people that it is required so we can make their dishes exactly how they want them (can’t believe it works). Then I just need to follow the recipe. Let’s take today’s salad for example. First I cut a cucumber, then peeled an onion, then cut it nicely, got everything on a plate, and gave the dish to the customer with a dressing of their choice! Well, first I need to buy the dressing and you don’t always get the one you need right away, but I’ll write about it next time. That’s it for today from your Royal Chef!
