The average temperature is so cold and the conditions so harsh that the locals often joked that even polar bears would avoid the place. Her father, Tom “Fomka” Jackson, was a retired circus strongman from Morocco who relocated to Norilsk and to serve the armed forces. She rose to prominence at a young age after winning a Biathlon gold medal in the Youth Olympic Games (her main opponent somehow managed to shoot himself in the foot... twice). Her marksmanship potential was quickly identified by special forces, and she was recruited and trained as a professional assassin.
