He was born in Colton City, the polluted and dangerous capital of Petria. His life was far from easy and happy. At just 15 he lost his girlfriend Aya to cancer caused by extreme pollution and a lack of proper healthcare for poor citizens. Three years have passed since then, but Kaito is still haunted by the traumatic memory, struggling to overcome and forget his past.
