Hello Friendly Facade community. We are very excited to release chapter 2 of the game, coming June 23rd. Through our play testing, we estimate the length of chapter 2 to be about 2-4 hours. It also includes a brand new mini-game which is far more in-depth than anything seen in chapter 1. I hope you'll find the character developments and reveals in chapter 2 as intriguing as we do, as the mystery of the Isolated Society Study becomes even more complex and the underlying distrust and conflict grows more apparent. With the release of chapter 2, we will be raising the price of the game slightly. For those that already have Friendly Facade in their steam library, you will be able to continue to enjoy all the content updates that are added to the game for free, since you already own the game. We appreciate you all for supporting the game this early on. Chapter 1 will continue to be free to play through the Friendly Facade demo which will be releasing at the same time as chapter 2. There are also many overall improvements to the game coming with the chapter 2 update, such as bug fixes and minor text changes to chapter 1. Most notably the save system of the game is being overhauled. I have completely changed the way saving works in the code, made the game auto save much more frequently, and added multiple save slots that you can manually save your data to. Because of these changes, if you played chapter 1, your save file may not work anymore. Nevertheless, you will be able to use the new chapter select menu to start the game right from chapter 2, skipping over chapter 1. Use this if you've already played chapter 1 to skip right to the new content. These changes will improve the quality of the game going forward, and we plan on implementing more quality of life updates of a similar nature as production of the game continues.
