Hey folks 😎 It's been one whole week since we launched Bish Bash Bots, and we've been totally blown away watching everyone's streams and reading all your comments. To commemorate our one-week-iversary, James and Josh of CATASTROPHIC_OVERLOAD have put together a list of their best tips and tricks to help you bash bots and, most importantly, protect the EMP! Impress your friends with your incredible bot bashing proficiency 🤖🔨 [h1]Tips for Budding Bot Bashers[/h1] [h2]Don't Sleep On Scrap ⚙️[/h2] Scrap is dropped by every bot you destroy, and can be used as currency to spend on more turrets. Collect it as soon as you can and keep an eye on your scrap balance - if you're running around with loads of scrap then you probably don't have enough turrets! [h2]Work Together To Upgrade Turrets ⬆️[/h2] Bash your turrets to upgrade them and increase their damage and rate of fire. Team up with friends to upgrade turrets in key positions and you'll be wiping out those waves in no time. [h2]Rest Those Thumbs 👐[/h2] Bish Bash Bots was designed to be as accessible as possible - you don't have to button mash to upgrade turrets. A single button press has the same effect, so don't tire out your thumbs! [h2]Be Prepared for Incoming Waves 🔮[/h2] The level select screen in the Aerovan shows which bots you'll be up against, so plan your gadgets and turret choice accordingly. In-game, you'll see which types of bots are coming up next in the bar at the top of the screen. Don't get caught out by flying or shielded bots! [h2]Protect (and Activate) the EMP 🛡️[/h2] [b]The only way to end the level is to activate the EMP [/b]- but first, it needs to charge! Keep track of the charge progress and health of the EMP through the bar at the top right of the screen, and make sure your whole team is ready to [b]activate it by bashing the switches[/b] when it reaches 100% charge. [h1]Troubleshooting[/h1] If the bots are still getting the better of you, or you're having trouble connecting with friends, keep reading! [h2]Playing Online With Friends 🌐[/h2] Online multiplayer is powered by Photon Quantum, and players have access to multiple servers across the globe. You'll only be able to play online and share room codes with your friends if you're [b]connected to the same server region[/b], so be sure to double check your region in the settings menu if you're having issues. [h2]We're Balanced for 1-4 Players 👯[/h2] Whether you're playing solo or with friends, the game is balanced for difficulty so everyone has the same challenge. Playing with friends is heaps of fun, but you don't need to feel obligated to play with friends in order to beat the game. [h2]Read the CHIP Wiki 📖[/h2] Take some time to explore the Aerovan and read up on the gadgets, turrets, and playable characters at your disposal. Different biomes will need different tactics, so stay on your toes and try mixing it up if you get stuck somewhere.
