[h3]Dear Exile Adventurers, As the release of Lords of Exile draws near, I wanted to take a moment to share my heartfelt gratitude for everyone’s support and share a glimpse into the story behind the game. Over the course of the last 7 years, I have been creating Lords of Exile as a personal project that has been very exciting but also very demanding. This adventure has been filled with countless hours and sleepless nights, although along the way I have been able to enlist the help and talent of professionals of such a high level and recognition that when I started this project during my spare time after work as a full time engineer it would have been unthinkable for me! Developing Lords of Exile has been a dream come true and a personal quest to capture the essence of the precious era of 8-bit gaming. I have been inspired by many classic games from my childhood, from Castlevania or Shatterhand to Revenge of Shinobi. My goal has always been to create an experience that would resonate with fans of retro gaming just like me. To all the backers and friends who have believed in this project since its early days, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your faith in the Lords of Exile has been a constant source of motivation over the years. With the demo just around the corner, I can't wait for you all to experience the world of Exilia, where samurais clash and revenge fuels the journey. Although we're not quite ready to reveal all the details about platforms and release dates, rest assured that the game will be available this year for you to immerse yourself.
