Azure Striker Gunvolt Update (Build 2767771) ・Fixed an issue where incorrect save data was being created incorrectly. In the previous update (Build 2765014), after downloading the update, the game would generate faulty save data which would cause the game to crash. This update (Build 2767771) was created to fix this issue. However, users who have already downloaded the previous version (Build 2765014), updating to the latest version (Build 2767771) alone will not resolve the issue. If you are still experiencing this issue in the latest version, please follow the steps below. This procedure is only intended for users experiencing the issue caused by faulty save data created by Build 2765014. WARNING: Do NOT follow these instructions if you are able to load your save data properly. Unfortunately, to solve this problem, all save data must be re-initialized and old saves cannot be recovered. We wish to sincerely apologize to those users who have been affected by this issue. Users unable to load their save files after the Build 2765014 update, please follow the steps below. ------------------------------------------- WARNING: Do NOT follow these instructions if you are able to load your save data properly. "Instructions to restore game function after the generation of faulty save data" First, confirm that the game is properly closed. Step 1: Turn off cloud saves In the Steam client's "Library" menu, right click on the "Azure Striker Gunvolt" item, then click "Properties." Click on the "UPDATES" tab in the Properties window. Toward the bottom of the window, remove the check mark next to "Enable Steam Cloud syncronization for Azure Striker Gunvolt." Cloud saves should now be off. Step 2: Delete the faulty save data Also in the Properties window, accessed from the Steam client's Library menu by right clicking on "Azure Striker Gunvolt", click on the "LOCAL FILES" tab. In this window, click on the "BROWSE LOCAL FILES..." button. The folder for "Azure Striker Gunvolt" should open. Open the "save" folder. Delete the following 3 files: gv_config.ini, gv_save.bin, and gv_sys_save.bin. Step 3: Uninstall the "Azure Striker Gunvolt" application In the Steam client's Library menu, right click on the "Azure Striker Gunvolt" item, then click "Uninstall..." Delete the application. Step 4: Reinstall "Azure Striker Gunvolt" Double click on "Azure Striker Gunvolt" in the Steam client while it is uninstalled to open the install window for the game. Complete the installation. Step 5: Create new save data Open "Azure Striker Gunvolt" and proceed to the title screen. Upon reaching the title screen, new save data will be created. You can now exit the game. Step 6: Re-enable cloud saves In the Steam client's "Library" menu, right click on the "Azure Striker Gunvolt" item, then click "Properties." Click on the "UPDATES" tab in the Properties window. Toward the bottom of the window, click the check box next to "Enable Steam Cloud syncronization for Azure Striker Gunvolt." Cloud saves should now be on. Step 7: Create a new cloud save Play "Azure Striker Gunvolt" once again, and then close the program. The save data you created in Step 5 will now overwrite the faulty save data in the cloud, completely removing all of the faulty save data. ------------------------------------------- We apologize once again for the trouble caused by this issue.
